Todd Obilor, a member of the Young Professionals Advisory Council at Atlantic Street Center, has been actively volunteering and raising awareness for nearly three years. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in child clinical psychology, his research focuses on the impact of societal prejudices and racism on sleep. Recently, he collaborated with the Youth Development team to conduct interviews with young people in the program, gaining valuable insights into how their environments influence their sleep patterns. Obilor’s dedication exemplifies the commitment of young professionals to their ambitions and the growth of the community, serving as a positive role model for the youth. The article encourages individuals ages 21 to 39 to consider joining the Young Professionals Advisory Council to contribute to the mission of Atlantic Street Center.
