Friends of Youth has been awarded the 2025 Vicky Hoffman Legacy Award from Influence the Choice, honoring its dedication to youth wellness and equitable services within the Issaquah community. This recognition was presented during the Issaquah Chamber Community Awards on June 3, 2025. Friends of Youth was celebrated for its leadership in providing mental health and substance use support to students in the Issaquah School District, as well as for its essential efforts in aiding unhoused youth and young adults throughout the region. The organization expressed deep gratitude for this acknowledgment and highlighted its enduring partnership with Influence the Choice, which has been strong since the latter’s inception in 2010. Friends of Youth remains committed to fostering a healthier and more hopeful future, ensuring that every young individual, regardless of background, circumstances, or identity, has the chance to thrive.
