The Auburn Parks Department oversees nearly 1,000 acres of parkland and more than 20 miles of trails, providing various recreational opportunities for residents. The Auburn Farmers Market operates seasonally from June to September at Les Gove Park. The Auburn Community and Event Center offers a comprehensive Community Fitness Program, featuring numerous classes, open gym hours, and access to fitness equipment and weight rooms.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, free at-home COVID-19 test kits are available for order through COVIDtests.gov, with each residential address eligible to receive four kits. Additionally, a free community vaccination site has been established at The Outlet Collection, available Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no appointment necessary for individuals aged 16 and older. A community testing site is also operational at the Boeing Auburn Facility, offering services from Monday to Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The City of Auburn’s Emergency Management team is actively monitoring the pandemic situation and will provide updates on community impacts via its website and social media.
