Brandon Mencini has been appointed president of MultiCare Auburn and MultiCare Covington medical centers, as well as market leader for South King County. He comes to MultiCare Health System from Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Ashland Community Hospital in Oregon, where he served as CEO. Mencini will focus on enhancing the performance of both medical centers, developing MultiCare’s South King strategy, driving sustainable growth, and improving patient care while fostering high-performing teams.

Tim Holmes, MultiCare’s chief executive of the South Sound Region, expressed confidence in Mencini’s operational expertise and leadership style. Mencini has previously held leadership roles, including CEO at Mercy Hospital in Colorado and COO at Chippenham Hospital in Virginia. He holds a master’s degree in health administration from Webster University.

Mencini emphasized the importance of MultiCare in supporting healthy communities in South King County and looks forward to collaborating with staff and physicians to expand services and enhance patient care. His tenure at MultiCare began on Nov. 3. MultiCare Health System operates 13 hospitals and employs more than 28,000 team members, focusing on delivering exceptional health outcomes and experiences.
