A study examined stress levels among Greek university students during the COVID-19 lockdown in November 2020. Researchers surveyed 610 students, predominantly women, across various academic levels. Participants completed five questionnaires assessing demographics, stress levels, and well-being. Findings indicated that 24.4% of students experienced mild stress, 51.3% moderate stress, and 24.3% severe stress. Key stressors included feelings of pressure and life changes. The research revealed variations in stress perception and management based on factors like gender, study level, and living conditions. A significant correlation was found between stress and well-being, with higher stress linked to lower well-being scores. The study underscored the need for effective counseling and psychological support in universities to help students cope with stress and enhance resilience.
