Paediatric nurses often face significant emotional and psychological stress due to the demands of family-centred care, impacting their mental health and ability to provide quality care. A systematic review evaluated strategies to enhance resilience and well-being among these nurses, identifying barriers to implementation. Conducted under PRISMA guidelines, the review analyzed six studies involving 486 participants. Key strategies identified included mindfulness practices, education workshops, mobile health (mHealth) applications, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). Mindfulness interventions were particularly effective in improving emotional regulation and resilience, while educational workshops helped to reduce stress. mHealth apps increased perceived resilience, and EAPs offered supportive counseling with measurable benefits. Despite these promising findings, the evidence remains limited and varied. The review highlights the need for future multicenter longitudinal research to assess the long-term effectiveness of these strategies and to develop sustainable interventions that can be easily integrated into paediatric healthcare practices. This review marks the first comprehensive synthesis of resilience-building strategies specifically for paediatric nurses, emphasizing the unique challenges they face in the field.
