A recent study examined the factors influencing attitudes toward domestic violence in Iraq, revealing significant insights into this critical issue. Researchers conducted a cross-sectional study involving 1,120 participants, utilizing a snowball sampling method through a Google form. The findings indicated that 25% of respondents reported experiencing domestic violence, with about 7% of males also affected. Statistical analysis showed significant relationships between attitudes toward domestic violence and factors such as gender, marital status, and occupation. The results highlighted that gender-related factors were particularly influential in shaping attitudes. Overall, this study underscores the complexity of domestic violence and the importance of understanding the social and cultural factors that contribute to these attitudes.
