Hot chocolate packs are among the most requested items at the Westside Neighbors Shelter’s morning warmup center, where clients can warm up with hot drinks and meals. Other popular items include self-serve oatmeal and pancakes. Supplies are running low, and the shelter urgently needs donations of hot chocolate packets, Cup-o-noodles, ramen, bulk oatmeal, sugar, pancake syrup, Krusteaz buttermilk pancake mix, paper towels, 12 oz hot cups, and Dixie Ultra 20 oz bowls. Contributions can be made through the shelter’s Amazon wish list for direct delivery or by dropping off items at the shelter from 7 to 11 a.m. or 5 to 9 p.m.
