The Washington State Department of Commerce will host listening sessions on Dec. 18 and 19 for multifamily housing providers. The sessions aim to gather feedback on how to better support less experienced funding applicants. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences with project development and the challenges faced when seeking public funding, particularly those from organizations that have not successfully secured awards from the Washington State Housing Trust Fund.

Two sessions will be held to accommodate broad participation. The first session is scheduled for Dec. 18 from 1 to 3 p.m., and the second on Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon. Both sessions will cover the same content, and registration is required for attendance. An automatic email with a session link will be sent upon registration.

Commerce will provide live translation services upon request, and feedback from these sessions will help strengthen support for Washington residents. Each session will be recorded, and transcripts will be published on the Commerce website. Interested participants should register early, as attendance may be limited.
