Commerce’s Community Reinvestment Program (CRP) has introduced two new funding opportunities for community-based organizations. The CRP Reentry Grants aim to assist individuals returning to their communities after incarceration, providing support such as employment training and healing-centered practices. Applications for these grants opened on December 17, 2025, and are due by February 13, 2026.

Additionally, the CRP Legal Aid Grants focus on expanding post-conviction legal services to help individuals tackle systemic barriers. Applications for these grants opened on December 18, 2025, with a submission deadline of February 4, 2026.

CRP is also recruiting for Local Advisory Teams (LATs) to oversee $7 million in violence prevention investments from 2026 to 2027, with applications open until January 20, 2026. Furthermore, Commerce is looking for members for the Affordable Housing Community Advisory Team, encouraging applications from communities affected by housing inequities.

Finally, two new grants supporting housing and Local Advisory Teams will be announced later in January.
