YouthCare is entering the new year with a renewed focus on supporting young people experiencing homelessness. The organization is strengthening its programs and collaborations, relying on the trust and support of its funders to ensure that young people receive essential care and opportunities. Victor, a participant in YouthCare’s YouthBuild program, exemplifies the impact of this support. Despite facing housing instability, he has continued his education and training, working towards his high school diploma and industry certifications in the trades. With guidance from his Client Success Navigator, Victor has managed to stay on track, and he is set to graduate soon with job-ready skills and college credits.

YouthBuild is a six-month workforce development program designed for young adults aged 18-24, providing education, hands-on training, and individualized support while participants earn a stipend. On January 21, Victor will join 30 others in graduating from the program, showcasing their resilience and dedication. YouthCare also expresses gratitude to donors who helped create a joyful holiday season for young people. Opportunities to volunteer and support YouthCare are available, including serving meals or organizing donations.
