Thank you to everyone who attended the Annual Membership Meeting at the Sno-Valley Senior Center. Members learned about the center’s accomplishments in 2025, including new doors at the entrances, automatic door openers in restrooms, and celebrations for the 50th Anniversary. Re-in-Carnation Thrift Store also reorganized its space to enhance the shopping experience, with a 50% discount for members on the first Wednesday of each month. Despite financial challenges due to new funding and sales tax, support from donors and increased thrift store revenue helped keep the deficit small. Looking ahead to 2026, plans include modernizing the elevator, installing a new dishwasher, and refurbishing cooking equipment. A transition team is forming as the current partnership with Sound Generations is set to end in the coming years. The center seeks volunteers for events like Rainbow Bingo and the Annual Plant Sale, which are vital for fundraising. The Spring Dinner & Dessert Auction is scheduled for March 28. For inquiries or to get involved, contact Kira Avery, Executive Director, via email or phone.
