February marks School-Based Health Care Awareness Month, a time to honor the individuals who support students through school-based health centers. The School-Based Health Alliance is recognizing the efforts of school-based health center teams, school nurses, partners, philanthropists, and policymakers who contribute to student health and well-being. In the face of challenges such as limited resources and changing needs, these “everyday superheroes” continue to provide vital services to students. A toolkit is available for those wishing to celebrate their teams and highlight the significance of school-based health care in their communities. This toolkit includes graphics and sample messages to facilitate sharing and appreciation for the contributions of those involved in school health care. The message emphasizes gratitude and support for the ongoing commitment to student health from all champions in the field.
