This service provides confidential support via phone and text to artists, crew members, staff, executives, and their families. Individuals can reach B-LINE by calling 1-855-BLINE99 or texting 254-639 (BLINE9). The initiative aims to address the unique mental health needs of a workforce that often operates outside of traditional care systems. Cara A. McNulty, CEO of Vibrant, emphasized the need for immediate access to care, stating that mental health crises require timely support. Backline’s Co-Founder Hilary Gleason noted that B-LINE fulfills a long-held vision of providing real-time access to mental health resources. Since its inception, Backline has invested $3.5 million in mental health initiatives, helping over 84,000 individuals. B-LINE complements Vibrant’s existing crisis response services and aims to strengthen mental health support within the music community, making it more accessible when needed. Backline’s online resource hub will remain available, offering ongoing mental health information and support.
