Operation Homefront announced that Walmart’s Spark Good program raised over $2.9 million for military families, aided by a 2:1 match from Walmart. This initiative marks the third consecutive year Walmart has supported Operation Homefront during its Veterans Day Round Up. Throughout November, customers shopping on Walmart.com and the Walmart app could round up their purchases to donate to the nonprofit’s mission of supporting military and veteran families. Walmart matched these contributions up to $2 million. Alan Reyes, President and CEO of Operation Homefront, expressed gratitude for Walmart’s leadership and commitment, highlighting the significant impact of the funding on military families. Since 2023, Walmart’s Spark Good program has raised more than $7.9 million for Operation Homefront, which provides essential relief and services to military families. The organization focuses on improving the financial, emotional, and social well-being of veterans and their families. With 83 percent of its expenditures directed toward support programs, Operation Homefront aims to prevent short-term needs from evolving into long-term struggles. The organization relies on donations and volunteer support to serve military families across the nation.
