Hopelink has appointed Eileen Aparis as its new Chief Operating Officer. In her role, she will lead the organization’s Community Services and Transportation divisions, overseeing facilities strategy and operations. Eileen has over 20 years of leadership experience across public, private, and government sectors, with expertise in program operations and strategic leadership. Her past work includes education, gender equity, and affordable housing on both regional and international levels. Eileen expressed gratitude for the opportunity, noting that Hopelink’s mission aligns with her own values, emphasizing community voice and equity.
CEO Meghan Altimore praised Eileen’s passion for serving those experiencing poverty, highlighting her ability to bring joy to the work. Eileen joins Hopelink as the organization prepares to implement its 2027-2029 Strategic Plan, set to take effect in July 2026. This plan focuses on organizational resilience, community empowerment, and mission-centered impact, addressing rapidly growing community needs. Eileen aims to strengthen Hopelink’s foundation for rapid realignment during challenges. As a 1.5-generation Filipina immigrant from South Seattle, she combines local insight with a global perspective. Eileen currently lives near Woodinville with her partner, Marc, and takes pride in being a favorite auntie.
