YouthCare has announced the formation of a six-member transition team to enhance its programmatic efforts and financial systems, aligning them with its core mission of addressing youth homelessness. Interim CEO Marty Hartman will lead this team, which includes notable community leaders: Alison Dean, Jackie Liao, Rob Stewart, Kristi Tollner, and William J. Wiggins.
The team aims to develop a clear strategy over the next 60 days, engaging with various stakeholders, including city and county leaders, community members, and unhoused youth. This initiative is part of YouthCare’s commitment to transparency and revitalization, continuing its legacy of serving young people since its founding in 1974. The organization offers comprehensive support to more than 1,500 young people annually, focusing on housing access, basic needs, and workforce training.
Each member of the transition team brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and social impact, poised to drive sustainable change and foster collaboration within the community. Hartman emphasizes the importance of open communication and looks forward to connecting with supporters as YouthCare embarks on this new journey toward stability and hope for the youth it serves.
