Overlake Medical Center & Clinics and MultiCare Health System have opened a new 11,000-square-foot neighborhood emergency department in Lynnwood, Washington. Situated at 3011 196th St. SW, this facility provides 24/7 emergency care to residents in the north Puget Sound region, addressing the growing demand for emergency services. The standalone department features 12 exam rooms, on-site radiology, a point-of-care testing lab, and pharmacy services, enabling comprehensive treatment for various emergencies.

Jon Duarte, CEO of Overlake and MultiCare’s North Sound Region, emphasized the commitment to compassionate care, stating the facility is an extension of Overlake’s longstanding service in Bellevue. Bill Robertson, CEO of MultiCare, noted the partnership’s goal of enhancing community health services. This emergency department marks the seventh in MultiCare’s network, which includes various health facilities across Washington.
