Violence against women and children is a pervasive issue that necessitates the development of effective, comprehensive interventions to aid in the recovery and healing of victim-survivors. The Beyond DV Recovery Pillars framework presents a holistic strategy aimed at enhancing the social, legal, health, housing, and financial well-being of survivors. An evaluation utilizing focus groups was conducted to gather victim-survivors’ insights on the support they received through this model. Reflexive thematic analysis identified eight key themes that characterize the Beyond DV model of care. The qualitative findings emphasize the importance of a holistic, integrated, trauma- and violence-informed approach to boost the overall well-being of those affected by domestic, family, and sexual violence. Continuous care is essential for supporting the long-term recovery and healing of victim-survivors.
