On Dec. 6, enjoy a classical guitar concert featuring Reyes González and a discussion with authors George M. Johnson and Leah Johnson about their new book “There’s Always Next Year.” The Ladies Musical Club will perform on Dec. 10, showcasing seasonal music. A special screening of the documentary “The Librarians” is scheduled for Dec. 11, followed by a panel discussion about the challenges librarians face today. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Douglass-Truth Branch on Dec. 13 with performances and history tours. Additional events include an art walk with Nina Vichayapai, an exhibit tour with Vaquero Azul on Dec. 14, and a book club meeting for the LGBTQ+ community on Dec. 18. Registration is required for some events. These activities are supported by The Seattle Public Library Foundation and the Gary and Connie Kunis Foundation.
