They secured $50,000 in the King County Budget for studying hygiene poverty and distributed over 100,000 pounds of food. Looking ahead to 2026, Essentials First aims to assist more than 10,000 households, advocate for state legislation to lower hygiene costs, and enhance youth programming. They plan to host their first Essentials First Day of Action in Olympia on January 26 and support families during Ramadan.
