The UW Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy graduate programs are seeking four family members of children with disabilities to join the 2026 Family Centered Care Panel. This panel will convene on January 5, 2026, from 1:20 to 2:20 p.m. on Zoom. The programs aim to enhance the panel format and objectives annually based on participant feedback, ensuring a diverse representation of experiences related to family-centered care.
Selected families will receive the panel questions in advance and can choose to share background information and photos. Discussion topics will include the significance of family-centered care and suggestions for future providers. An honorarium will be offered, and any collected background information will remain confidential.
Interested families must complete a recruitment form by December 15, 2025. The form requests details about availability, therapy history, family background, and any needed accommodations.
