The ‘Tis the Season Holiday Giving Program, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue and Rainier Athletes, recently welcomed 217 families to choose gifts for their children in a festive holiday gift room. This program emphasizes choice, allowing parents to select items that match their children’s interests and needs, providing a sense of dignity during financially challenging times.

Community support made the event possible, with donors contributing hundreds of gifts such as dolls, winter clothing, and sports equipment. Families also received handmade holiday treat baskets filled with cocoa kits and craft supplies. The Bacon Family Foundation played a crucial role by organizing a holiday party to raise awareness and donations, ensuring every child received meaningful gifts.

Local partners contributed free holiday activity tickets, allowing families to create cherished memories at places like the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink and the Woodland Park Zoo. Dedicated volunteers helped bring the program to life through decorating, organizing, and wrapping gifts. Thanks to this collective effort, over 440 children experienced the joy and togetherness that make the holidays special.
