Last month, Seattle opened its first four seasonal shelters, thanks to the collaboration of local elected officials and organizations including Lake City Partners, Low Income Housing Institute, Salvation Army, and Urban League. These shelters aim to provide essential support during the colder months, ensuring that people experiencing homelessness have a safe place to stay.
