The Washington State Department of Health has announced various disciplinary actions against health care providers across the state. In December 2025, certified medical assistant Chad Edmond Broderius was charged with unprofessional conduct for working beyond his scope of practice. Kendra Nicole Disspain had her probation terminated, while Joan Elizabeth Aquino’s nursing assistant credential was issued in error due to missing training documentation. Ashley Browning faced charges for unprofessional conduct after failing to comply with a monitoring program. The Dental Quality Assurance Commission denied Elizabeth Ann Currier’s application for a dental assistant credential due to criminal convictions and charged dentist Wei Guo with unprofessional conduct for failing to monitor a patient properly. Other cases included denials of home care aide credentials for Jordon Bradley Spiese and Pamela Jean Stiles, who were listed on the abuse and neglect registry. The department also placed massage therapist Jennifer Diana Ortiz on probation and granted agency affiliated counselor credentials to several individuals under specific conditions. Health care providers have 20 days to respond to charges, with unresolved cases proceeding to a hearing.
