Disaster Assistance Centers will open from January 2 to January 5 in King County, Washington, to support residents affected by recent flooding. The centers will be located in both northern and southern areas of the county. The Auburn Library will operate on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The King County Library System Administrative Office in Issaquah will be open on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., while the Carnation Library will serve residents on Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Washington State Emergency Management Division (WAEMD) will activate the Individual Assistance program, allowing eligible residents to apply for financial aid at the centers. For those unable to attend in person, online applications will also be available.
