A free webinar titled “Empowering Our Youth to Be Vape Free” will take place on January 13, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM PST. Presented by Heather Hansen, a Health Education Specialist at Eastern Idaho Public Health, the session will focus on the current youth vape product landscape and strategies to promote vape prevention through youth leadership. Participants will learn about initiatives like CATCH My Breath and other resources aimed at reducing the harms associated with youth vaping.

The webinar aims to help attendees describe the dangers of youth vaping, identify ongoing prevention campaigns in Idaho, and explain how to engage youth in peer-led efforts for vape prevention. It is intended for local, state, and tribal public health practitioners, community organizers, social workers, and public safety professionals.

Attendees can earn up to 1 CPH recertification credit by participating in the webinar. Slides and additional resources will be provided during the session. Interested individuals can register for the webinar to gain valuable insights into youth vaping prevention.
