Actions include the release of registered nursing assistant Yvette Verduzco-Alvarez from monitoring and the charging of counselor Steven Mario Perez with unprofessional conduct following a vehicular assault conviction. The Department denied Brandon Aune’s application for a nursing assistant credential due to prior disciplinary action in Oregon. Dentist Brady Tucker Smith was charged with unprofessional conduct for failing to meet agreed order terms and was fined $25,000. Other disciplinary actions include charges against pharmacy assistant Akira Trudie Jackson for noncompliance, and registered nursing assistant Alimamy Dauda Kamara for misusing funds from a vulnerable adult. The Department also charged Fei Li for practicing massage therapy without a license. In total, several providers from various counties faced charges or had their credentials affected due to unprofessional conduct or failure to meet licensing requirements.
