Weekend service for several Metro routes will be impacted from January 9 to January 12 due to construction. Routes affected include 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 13, 14, 21, 24, 27, 28, 33, 40, 56, 62, 124, 131, 132, and the RapidRide C, D, E, and H Lines. A closure at 3rd Avenue & Virginia Street will occur from Friday at 7 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m. Additionally, Route 62 will be rerouted off 7th Avenue between Bell Street and Denny Way on January 10 and 11 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Routes 101 and 150 will have stop #361 at 2nd Avenue & James Street closed from Saturday at 9 a.m. to Sunday at 9 a.m. Route ST 545 will have two stops closed from January 9 at 11:59 p.m. to January 12 at 5 a.m. Metro encourages riders to use transit for sporting and community events at various venues around Seattle. The Water Taxi is operating on a winter schedule, and the Seattle Center Monorail will have modified hours over the weekend. Riders can get departure times by texting their stop number to 62550.
