Washington State ABLE is seeking feedback from community partners through a new survey aimed at improving the sharing of disability resources. The survey is open until January 31, 2026. The initiative is part of WA ABLE’s efforts to enhance outreach and support for organizations involved in disability services.

In addition to the survey, WA ABLE has expanded eligibility criteria in line with the federal ABLE Age Adjustment Act. Individuals diagnosed with a qualifying disability before age 46 can now open an account, increasing access for many residents.

For 2026, annual contribution limits have also risen. Account holders can contribute up to $20,000 per year, with an extra $15,650 permitted for employed individuals, based on their income. These changes aim to provide greater financial opportunities for people with disabilities in Washington.
