Keri Pollock serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Aging Wisdom. Her journey into the aging field began 30 years ago when she joined an architectural firm focusing on senior housing. Pollock credits her mentors for shaping her understanding of aging from a biopsychosocial perspective. Over her decade at Aging Wisdom, she has seen a shift where adult children are now proactive about planning their own aging journeys, rather than reacting to changes as they occur. Pollock values her colleagues for their wisdom and support, which fosters a collaborative work environment. She takes pride in her involvement with community organizations that support older adults, including her role in launching the Creative Aging Program at the Frye Art Museum. Pollock is motivated by the belief that small groups can effect change, inspired by Margaret Mead’s famous quote. Her work focuses on writing, presenting, and connecting, ensuring a positive impact on the well-being of clients and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and supporting her local soccer team.
