Commerce’s Community Reinvestment Program (CRP) is accepting applications for funding aimed at helping organizations, lenders, and tribes provide homeownership opportunities to those facing wealth disparities. The funding will support initiatives such as land acquisition loan programs, culturally responsive financial coaching, and capacity building for community-based housing organizations. It will also assist with foreclosure remediation for homeowners, home upgrades addressing health and safety, and flexible mortgage products to help buyers become mortgage-ready. Additionally, loan programs will be available for creating accessory dwelling units (ADUs) or detached accessory dwelling units (DADUs). Applications are due by March 16, 2026.
