Operation Homefront and CSX are providing crucial financial relief to military families through the expanded Rolling Out Relief campaign, impacting 52 families across 26 states. The initiative covers six months of car payments for 26 families and one month of rent or mortgage for another 26, addressing the financial strain many face during their transition to civilian life. A 2023 RAND Corporation study highlighted that post-9/11 veterans often struggle more with housing costs than their civilian counterparts, prompting the need for this support.

Retired Rear Adm. Alan Reyes, president and CEO of Operation Homefront, noted a significant rise in requests for financial assistance in 2025, covering various needs. Many families are overwhelmed, and CSX’s commitment through its Pride in Service initiative aims to provide immediate support. Recipients, including Air Force veteran Xavier Moss and Army veteran Tiffani Goodwin, expressed deep gratitude for the assistance during challenging times. Since 2018, CSX has contributed over $8 million to help military families, demonstrating a long-term commitment to their well-being. Operation Homefront focuses on improving the financial, emotional, and social stability of military families across the nation.
