As cold weather increases the need for support, Chef Tim has identified essential kitchen supplies that are running low. The kitchen is in urgent need of paper towels, paper plates (10-inch), paper bowls (20 oz.), paper coffee cups (12 oz.), potatoes, rice, ground coffee, powdered coffee creamer, pancake mix, oatmeal, pancake syrup, white sugar, brown sugar, cup noodles, hot cocoa packets, corn starch, and large chicken bouillon. Donations can be dropped off at the American Legion Hall located at 3620 SW Alaska St. during specific hours: 7-11 a.m. and 6-9 p.m. The Hall is closed from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Additionally, donations can be made through an Amazon Wish List. Community support is vital for helping feed hungry neighbors.
