The City of Tukwila is accepting applications for its Scholarship Program, established in 2014 to support residents pursuing undergraduate education at community colleges, trade schools, and universities. Applicants must be Tukwila residents, equivalent to high school seniors, and must demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA Student Aid Report. Other criteria include a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, completion of at least 15 hours of community service, and involvement in extracurricular activities that showcase leadership qualities. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026, with no exceptions. Proof of residency, such as a recent utility bill, is required at the time of application.
